Services

Newfoundland Transshipment Limited (NTL) provides a dedicated transshipment service for producers of Canada's east coast oil fields. This includes scheduling and coordination of:

• shuttle vessel liftings from offshore production facilities
• deliveries to the Terminal
• crude storage
• reloading to second leg tankers to market

This coordination ensures crude production reaches markets in a reliable and timely fashion. The major markets for the Terminals throughput lie on the north eastern seaboard of the United States.

The Whiffen Head Terminal provides services to support the marine activity including tug availability to dock, undock and escort vessels up to the Terminal's maximum capacity of 160,000 dwt. Additionally the Terminal provides access to agency, ship's chandlering and other services required for continuous operation of shuttle vessels and second leg vessels involved in the transportation chain.
